The vault surfaces quality grades, maintenance recency and verification status on every listing. A claimed, verified server outranks an anonymous one inside its category, because it has proven more.
Unclaimed listings say unclaimed
Auto-indexed pages show basic public data and a notice that the maintainer has not claimed them. That is honest for users and bad marketing for you. Claiming removes it.
Verification is tested, not asserted
The verified badge means we ran your server and it responded to a real MCP handshake. It cannot be bought. That is exactly why it is worth having on your page.
