MCPVault

Getting started

Do I need to know how to code to use MCP servers?

No. Using an existing MCP server is a configuration task, not a programming task. Most servers are installed by adding a JSON block to your client config file or clicking a one-click install button. You do not need to write code to connect a pre-built server for file search, web browsing, or database queries. If you can edit a text file and restart an application, you have the technical skill required. Building a custom server from scratch does require coding in Python, TypeScript, or another supported language, but that is optional. Start with the MCPVault directory, copy the provided config snippet, and paste it into Claude Desktop or your IDE.
