How to use it

scan_project_icons is exposed by the Better Icons MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), and the scan_project_icons tool becomes available to the model automatically. See the full listing for setup details and every tool this server provides.

recommend_icons

Get icon recommendations for a specific use case.

(optional): Search collections by name

Search for icons across 150+ icon collections.

(optional): Icon size in pixels

(optional): 'solid', 'outline', or 'any'
