How to use it
annotations is exposed by the MCP MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), and the annotations tool becomes available to the model automatically. See the full listing for setup details and every tool this server provides.

(optional str): A description of what the tool does. If not provided, it will be extracted from the function's docstring.
(optional dict): The JSON schema for the tool's input. If not provided, it will be inferred from the function's signature and docstring.
(optional str): The name of the tool. If not provided, the function's name will be used.
(optional bool): If True, the entire docstring will be used as the tool's description. Otherwise, only the first section is used (i.e. no Args). Defaults to False.
