How to use it
Project documentation lists context for the MCP Dap Server MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), then check which tools your installed version makes available. Install MCP Dap Server

Set a breakpoint at a file:line location or on a function.
Remove breakpoints from a file or clear all breakpoints.
Continue program execution. Optionally run to a specific location.
Start a debugging session. Supports four modes:
Disassemble code at a memory address.
Evaluate an expression in the current debugging context.
Get program metadata.
Pause program execution.
Restart the debugging session with optional new arguments.
Modify a variable's value in the debugged program.
Step through code execution.
End the debugging session. Terminates the debuggee and stops the debugger.
