How to use it
murmur_inbox is exposed by the Murmur MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), and the murmur_inbox tool becomes available to the model automatically. See the full listing for setup details and every tool this server provides.

list_conversations
List conversations by recency.
murmur_peers
List known peers and their key status.
murmur_request
Send message and wait for reply. Blocks until response or timeout. Best for autonomous workflows.
murmur_send
Send encrypted message (fire-and-forget). Returns immediately after enqueue.
search_messages
Full-text search across stored messages.
send_message
Store a local message in the conversation store.
