How to use it

Project documentation lists channels_list for the Slack MCP Server MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), then check which tools your installed version makes available. conversations_add_message

Add a message to a public channel, private channel, or direct message (DM, or IM) conversation by channelid and threadts.
