Claiming a listing
MCPVault indexes the public MCP ecosystem automatically, so your server probably already has a page here. Unclaimed listings show only minimal public data and are marked as such. Claiming is free, takes under two minutes and puts you in control of how your work is presented.
One account can claim and manage any number of servers, so teams and prolific builders manage everything from a single dashboard.
Three steps
Find your server
Search the claim page for your server's name or repository. If we have indexed the public MCP ecosystem correctly, it is already there as an unclaimed listing showing basic public data. Not there? Submit it instead, it takes a minute.
Verify ownership
Sign in with the GitHub account that has access to the repository. That is the whole check for most servers: if you can push to it, it is yours. For servers not hosted on GitHub, we support verification by adding a token file to the repository or a DNS record on the project domain.
Take control
Once verified, the listing is yours: edit the description, set client compatibility (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf), add the install command, correct the category and keep the page accurate as your project evolves.
Why bother?
Claimed listings rank above stale ones, display full install and compatibility information, and are eligible for the verified badge. An unclaimed page tells users nobody is home. A claimed one tells them the project is alive.
