How to use it
list_tables is exposed by the Airtable MCP Server MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), and the list_tables tool becomes available to the model automatically. See the full listing for setup details and every tool this server provides.

(string, required): The ID of the Airtable base
(string, optional): Description of the table
(string, optional): The amount of detail to get about the tables (tableIdentifiersOnly, identifiersOnly, or full)
(string, required): The ID of the field
(array, optional): Specific field IDs to search in. If not provided, searches all text-based fields.
(object, required): The fields and values for the new record
(string, optional): Airtable formula to filter records
(number, optional): Maximum number of records to return. Defaults to 100.

(string, optional): Pagination offset for retrieving additional comments
(number, optional): Number of comments to return (max 100, default 100)
