How to use it

upscale_images is exposed by the Image Gen MCP MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), and the upscale_images tool becomes available to the model automatically. See the full listing for setup details and every tool this server provides.

Scheduler algorithm (default: "Simple")

seed

Random seed (-1 for random)

set_sd_model

Set the active Stable Diffusion model

steps

Number of sampling steps (default: 4, range: 1-150)

tiling

Generate tileable images

upscaler_1

Primary upscaler model (default: from env)

upscaler_2

Secondary upscaler model (default: from env)

upscaling_resize

Upscale multiplier when resizemode=0 (default: from env)

upscaling_resize_h

Target height in pixels when resizemode=1 (default: from env)

upscaling_resize_w

Target width in pixels when resizemode=1 (default: from env)

width

Image width (default: 1024, range: 512-2048)
