Edit an existing task or project. Also the way to move items — set newProjectName to move a task into a project, or to ""/"inbox" to send it to the inbox.

How to use it

Project documentation lists edit_item for the OmniFocus MCP MCP server. Add the server to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others), then check which tools your installed version makes available.
